Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza have been together since 2008, share a beautiful little girl, Gia (2), now they are set to become husband and wife.

Lopez popped the question in Ixtapa, Mexico over New Year’s Eve.

He shared with Us,

“We took a walk alone as the sun was setting. I told Courtney that I wanted the mother of my children to have their last name. She was silent at first from shock, then she leaped for joy and did a little jete!”

Mazza gushed,

“Besides our daughter’s birth, this was the best moment of my life!”

The happy couple is planning a wedding in Mexico for later this year.
