Joy to the world, Justin Bieber has passed his test and is now a high school graduate. The 18-year old pop star – who recently dropped the video for his latest single, Boyfriend – shared his joy to The Telegraph earlier this week to let fans know that he is finally free. Bieber says that the only thing that kept him from continuing his studies and become a graduate student is because of his mother who wanted him to focus on education more than anything else.
While on his world tour last year, Justin had to juggle his education with the constant traveling which became hectic and stressful for musician – then 17-years old – who only had passion to do music and not worry about high school drama. “I passed my test – I’m free,” Bieber told the newspaper.
“It was hard doing school and work every day. That was something my mum really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her. I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m really not into that stuff. I like to be out there.”
After all, it seems that Bieber is thankful his mother made him continue his studies and become a high school graduate. According to sources close to the singer, he is believed to release a song dedicated to his mother, Pattie Mallette, on mother’s day. Now, ain’t that nice?
