By now it’s old news that Johnny Depp and girlfriend of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis have split. They hadn’t been seen together in public since last Christmas and no one was too shocked when they confirmed the split. Depp pretty quickly attached himself to openly bisexual, Amber Heard. The duo worked together on 2011’s The Rum Diary and that is likely where the sparks first flew for them.
“Johnny’s been smitten with Amber for a long time,” a source tells Star. They began filming together in the spring of 2009, “and with both of them having wild, bohemian streaks, their chemistry was off the charts!”
Here comes the interesting twist- Depp is not only seeing Heard. He is currently working on the set of The Lone Ranger and according to Radar Online, he has gotten up close and personal with love interest, Ruth Wilson.
“She’s an unconventional beauty who’s just Johnny’s type,” says an insider. “They’ve discreetly been spending as much time together as possible — on and off the set.”
I wonder if Heard knows that she and Depp have a casual and open relationship. I also wonder how Paradis, mother to Depp’s children, Lily-Rose and Jack, feels about all of this.
