Just nine days before Kristen Stewart admitted to cheating on Robert Pattinson with movie director, Rupert Sanders, Rob had been scheduled for an interview with the press for his latest film The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 – also starring his estranged girlfriend.
In the brief interview, Pattinson opens up and explains to the journalists that he has never felt any kind of pain through betrayal, and that’s because he’s never been betrayed in his life – making the cheating fling the first one. He continued that famous people can no longer have a private life or do anything outside due to gossip sites starting false rumors, making fans believe what is written is the truth:
“No, I’ve never been betrayed by people who are actually in my life, like my friends or even my acquaintances. No one has ever done anything,” he tells The Mirror. “Being a successful actor… if you just had the good side of fame it would have been unbelievable,” he said.
“Now actors are the most conservative people in the world because you can’t do anything. Literally… you can’t do anything at all. You can’t trust anyone because it all becomes part of your career.”
Kristen Stewart has since moved out of the couple’s home, after Rob decided not to return to their house in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, according to reports, Stewart is so distraught about the whole situation that she’s moved in with one of her best friends, and hasn’t showered in days.
