Mariah Carey is supposedly drifting apart from her husband Nick Cannon due to the two not seeing eye-to-eye when it comes to having more children. Carey and Cannon welcomed Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011 – which Mariah described as one of the most painful, yet most beautiful moment of her life.
However, National Enquirer claims that the singer is not looking to have any children anytime soon, especially now that she’s joining American Idol. The tabloid also claimed that Carey is working on her next studio album, and doesn’t want anything or anyone to interrupt this process – because as we all know, Mariah is a diva and always needs to have her way.
“Nick desperately wants to expand their family and has been pushing Mariah to get pregnant… Mariah told Nick her career is her baby right now,” the inside told the NE. But, since these reports came out, Carey’s team were quick to release a statement which read that the rumors on Carey arguing with Nick are ‘totally ridiculous’.
