Shine bright like a diamond…
Rihanna has released her new music video to her single Diamonds. The video which was shot in Los Angeles last month, premiered on VEVO last night but fails to capture anyone’s attention. We’re going to assume that an intern directed this video because it’s all over the place — why is there a horse jumping around while Rihanna is seen relaxing in the ocean, then the next minute she’s watching people fighting in some kind of war.
Though we understand she has been working a lot recently, with the release of her album next week and her alleged fling with Chris Brown, if she’s going to film a video, she should at least do something that actually makes sense. Ha. Diamonds is the lead single of Rih’s forthcoming studio album Unapologetic, which features songs with Eminem and (you’ve guess it…) Chris Brown.
We’re too tired to judge this girl on the decisions she makes in life, especially due to the fact how she says in the song that features Chris how it’s nobody’s business to judge their relationship. Fair point she made there, but when you’re in a public relationship where the media follow your every move, you have to put up with the consequences, honey boo boo.
The singer finished recording her album last week, and of course she had to let her fans know the good news when she hit up on Twitter to share her excitement… and relief: “Man my album is complete, and I need a f**king drink and a roll up! It was quite the journey, but it’s all part of our story! #UNAPOLOGETIC,” she tweeted.
