What is wrong with these celebrities? They make money, they should pay taxes right, simple! But for some reason celebrities think they are above the law and don’t have to do that and when Mr. Tax man comes calling they get upset, poor me, woe is me.
According to Yazmar, the newest celebrity on the IRS’s hit list is R & B singer Mary J. Blige. “Mary owes everybody and their mama, but Uncle Sam doesn’t give a sh!t! He says,”phuck you and pay me my $900,000, before I put you behind bars like your buddy Lauryn Hill.”
To be exact Mary owes 901,769 in back taxes. This is just another in a string of problems for her, earlier this year she was sued for defaulting on a $500,000 loan. Last summer, lawyers for America’s Signature Bank filed a lawsuit too.
It seems like Mary is not such a nice person. Allegedly, there are even claims she has defrauded her own charity, The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now Inc.
