The National Enquirer loves Angelina Jolie health stories, and their latest cover issue very much continues in that vein. According to the report, Angelina recently collapsed on the set of Unbroken, the movie she’s directing in Australia. Apparently, the collapse left the film crew worried that Angelina had died, and Brad Pitt worried sick over her fragile health.
Jeesh. If Angelina freaking Jolie, the biggest movie star on the planet, had collapsed on a major film set in Australia, you think it wouldn’t have been on the news? The Enquirer conveniently uses a picture of Angelina closing her eyes and relaxing as their cover picture, even though that achieves pretty much nothing. Also, Angelina’s always been a very, very skinny woman, and that’s never changed. Sure, she’s had some health concerns lately and she’s probably under a lot of stress directing the movie, but again, there’s no way the Enquirer would get this kind of exclusive on such a major story.
Also, the Enquirer suggests that Sandra Bullock has apparently found new romance with a divorced NFL star. Plus, country music star Carrie Underwood is reportedly facing some Hollywood nightmare, hiding her internal conflict and torment from the press.
There’s also a full feature on all the major TV chefs, including their secrets and scandals exposed. This list includes Gordon Ramsay [of course], Martha Stewart, Rachael Ray, and Nigella Lawson [also of course].
What do you guys think of this week’s issue of the Enquirer? Do you think Angelina really collapsed? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
