Well, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian managed to find a way around that little problem that they had with being allowed to marry in France. Just a few weeks ago the couple learned that they needed to be permanent residents of the country for a minimum of 40 days in order to get married on French soil. Of course desperate times call for a desperate loop hole and they did find one. As long as they arrive in France with a valid marriage certificate from the U.S. Then they can reaffirm those vows in the country.
According to TMZ Kim and Kanye are set to have a super lowkey swapping of the vows in LA this week in front of a judge, basically just to get it down and to have their formal license in hand. Their next stop will be France for a second civil ceremony because in order to have any sort of religious ceremony in France you first need a certificate stating that a civil service took place. After they have that then the big shebang will go down in front of E!’s cameras on May 24th as planned.
All in all they will actually exchange vows three different times which seems a bit excessive for a marriage that is destined to fail once Kim and Kanye no longer have a big life event to plan! Think about it, for the majority of their relationship they have been anxiously awaiting something- either a baby or a wedding. What are they going to do once they are stuck together just watching television at the end of a normal day? How long will Kim and Kanye’s marriage actually last?
