Not quite yet. The wait is almost over , though. The much anticipated new album from the Ohio natives is set to hit the streets in early December, and if it is anything like their last three records, it will have been worth the wait. The first single,
Lonely Boy, has been available on
iTunes for a couple of weeks, and is vintage
Black Keys. These two have clearly found a sound that works, with the help of producer
Danger Mouse, who again helps to bring that gritty hip-hop style to the record, I would have to assume
that this album will follow suit.
The album, El Camino, will be available in it’s full entirety on December 6, 2011.
