WATCH: ‘The Devil’s Double’ Trailer Arrives

Here is the release of The Devil’s Double, starring Dominic Cooper:

Summoned from the frontline to Saddam Hussein’s palace, Iraqi army lieutenant Latif Yahia is thrust into the highest echelons of the “royal family” when he’s ordered to become the ‘fiday’ — or body double — to Saddam’s son, the notorious “Black Prince” Uday Hussein, a reckless, sadistic party-boy with a rabid hunger for sex and brutality. With his and his family’s lives at stake, Latif must surrender his former self forever as he learns to walk, talk and act like Uday. But nothing could have prepared him for the horror of the Black Prince’s psychotic, drug-addled life of fast cars, easy women and impulsive violence. With one wrong move costing him his life, Latif forges an intimate bond with Sarrab, Uday’s seductive mistress who’s haunted by her own secrets. But as war looms with Kuwait and Uday’s depraved gangster regime threatens to destroy them all, Latif realizes that escape from the devil’s den will only come at the highest possible cost.

The movie lands in theaters (limited) on July 29th.

Rob Kazinsky Leaves ‘The Hobbit’

Peter Jackson has announced that Rob Kazinsky has left The Hobbit:

“I am sad to report that Rob Kazinsky, who was cast in the role of Fili, is having to leave The Hobbit and return home, for personal reasons. Rob has been terrific to work with and his enthusiasm and infectious sense of humour will be missed by all of us. I should say that Rob’s departure will not affect ongoing filming of The Hobbit, nor will it impact work done to date, as we had yet to film much of Fili’s storyline. At the moment we are shooting scenes featuring Bilbo without the Dwarves, which will give us time to find a new Fili. I’ll keep everyone posted with updates as they come.”

Okay, it’s time to make your thoughts known.  Who do you think would be the best replacement for Rob?

Paul Rudd: ‘Our Idiot Brother’ Trailer Has Arrived

One of my all times faves, Paul Rudd is starring in this funny flick, Our Idiot Brother. It opens on August 26th…. check out the trailer and see what you think:

Every family has one: the sibling who is always just a little bit behind the curve when it comes to getting his life together. For sisters Liz (Emily Mortimer), Miranda (Elizabeth Banks) and Natalie (Zooey Deschanel), that person is their perennially upbeat brother Ned (Paul Rudd), an erstwhile organic farmer whose willingness to rely on the honesty of mankind is a less-than-optimum strategy for a tidy, trouble-free existence. Ned may be utterly lacking in common sense, but he is their brother and so, after his girlfriend dumps him and boots him off the farm, his sisters once again come to his rescue. As Liz, Emily and Natalie each take a turn at housing Ned, their brother’s unfailing commitment to honesty creates more than a few messes in their comfortable routines. But as each of their lives begins to unravel, Ned’s family comes to realize that maybe, in believing and trusting the people around him, Ned isn’t such an idiot after all.

WATCH: ’30 Minutes Or Less’ RED BAND Trailer Debuts

This is going to be one side splitting laugh fest and I cannot wait.  30 Minutes Or Less opens in theaters on August 12th.

An action-comedy, 30 Minutes or Less tells the story of Nick (Jesse Eisenberg), a small town pizza delivery guy whose mundane life collides with the big plans of two wanna-be criminal masterminds (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson). The volatile duo kidnaps Nick and forces him to rob a bank. With mere hours to pull off the impossible task, Nick enlists the help of his ex-best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari). As the clock ticks, the two must deal with the police, hired assassins, flamethrowers, and their own tumultuous relationship.

FIRST LOOK: Jessica Alba in ‘Spy Kids 4: All The Time In The World’

I actually enjoyed the first three Spy Kids movies.  For family films, these ones are really fun for everyone.  Cliche sounding? Yes.  But it’s the truth!

Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World opens in 3D and 2D on August 19th.   Jessica Alba, Jeremy Piven, Joel McHale, Rowan Blanchard, Mason Cook, Antonio Banderas, Danny Trejo, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara are all in the cast…. so this is going to be another good one.

On the surface, Marissa Cortez Wilson (Jessica Alba) has it all…married to a famous spy hunting television reporter, a new baby and intelligent twin step kids. But in reality, trying to mother Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook), who clearly don’t want her around, is her toughest challenge yet. Also, her husband, Wilbur (Joel McHale), wouldn’t know a spy if he lived with one which is exactly the case – Marissa’s a retired secret agent.

Marissa’s world is turned upside down when the maniacal Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) threatens to take over the planet and she’s called back into action by the head of OSS, home of the greatest spies and where the now-defunct Spy Kids division was created. With Armageddon quickly approaching, Rebecca and Cecil are thrust into action when they learn their boring stepmom was once a top agent and now the world’s most competitive ten year olds are forced to put their bickering aside and rely on their wits. With a little help from a couple of very familiar Spy Kids, Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni Cortez (Daryl Sabara), and some mind-blowing gadgets, they just may be able to save the world and possibly bring their family together while they’re at it.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Joins ‘Rock of Ages’

Catherine Zeta-Jones has been in the headlines the past few days regarding her bipolar disorder.  Well, now she’s got some brighter news to share.  THR has confirmed that Adam Shankman has cast her in Rock of Ages, the adaptation of the Broadway musical at New Line/Warner Bros.  She will play the villainess of the movie.  This is not a part in the stage production.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Checks Herself In To Mental Facility For Bipolar Disorder

“It’s a character that we only really came to in the last month,” Shankman said. “The character was invented to streamline the stories.”

Filming is set to start next month.

Kudos to Catherine….. I am certain she will nail the part.
