There are rather strange phobias and fears out there. Some people are afraid of the clichéd dangers – heights, snakes, spiders, enclosed spaces, etc. – while others have more interesting and absurd fears – pennies, Friday the 13th, shampoo, little people, etc. I, for one – breaking the fourth wall here – am absolutely terrified of soup. It instills a fear in me that no one is able to understand. Thinking about soup, looking at soup, talking about soup, and even writing about soup terrifies me so much that I break out into a cold sweat and crawl under a table. However, I am not alone.
