Joel Madden Begged For A Date With Nicole Richie

Apparently Joel Madden might not have been perfect boyfriend material for Nicole Richie when they first met. Who knew that it wasn’t actually love at first sight? Apparently he had to use his charm to win her over!

In a new interview airing Sunday, Joel revealed, “When I first would see her around, we were friends. But I don’t think I’m the obvious choice. I’m always like, ‘Just give me a shot. Just give me one date.’ If I can get my foot in the door…”

Nicole Richie Probation Has Been Terminated!

Nicole Richie is going to start off the new year on a very happy note. This morning her lawyer went before the judge to show that Nicole has fulfilled all the terms of her probation for her DUI back in 2006.

Nicole Richie Gets Restraining Order to Protect Harlow

The judge was satisfied and terminated her probation which was due to expire in February.

Congrats to Nicole! Free at last!

Paris Hilton Isn’t Invited to Nicole Richie’s Wedding

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are finally going to be tying the knot on Saturday at her daddy, Lionel Richie’s house. This is going to be a pretty small gathering, keeping it personal and intimate.

The guest list isn’t very long. But, there are a couple of surprises on it. Samantha Ronson will be in attendance. Christina Aguilera will be their as a guest as well as to sing for the bride and groom.

Paris Hilton did not make the list? What’s that about? Did Paris not want to be there? Or was it Nicole who wanted Paris out of the picture? I know they’ve had their differences over the years, but this is a wedding and that is usually the ‘exception to the rule’ right?

Either way, I am excited fro Nicole and Joel. She’s going to be a beautiful bride. Harlow and Sparrow will be the cutest ring bearer and flower girl ever.

Nicole Richie Gets Restraining Order to Protect Harlow

Okay, I know that the paparazzi are usually just doing their jobs. But this guy is pure creepiness, stalking a preschooler, acting like a pervert on preschool property.

Nicole Richie took the above photo of Fabricio Luis Mariotto and filed legal papers with the court to get a restraining order to protect her daughter, Harlow.

In the docs, Nicole says,

“[Mariotto] drives erratically around my children and others, yells, screams and attempts to scare us so that he can photograph our reaction. He trespasses on preschool property to photograph the children. He has often left his car in the middle of a busy street just to chase me for a photograph. His predatory behavior caused and continues to cause severe emotional distress as I fear for the safety of my children.”

The judge of course granted a temporary restraining order that requires Mariotto to stay 100 yards away from Nicole, Harlow, Sparrow and Joel Madden, as well as the preschool. I think that the order should be permanent, now.
