Joe Giudice Pitches A Reality Show “Joe in the Joint” Would You Watch?

Teresa Giudice has a whole lot more to worry about than her constant fighting with her family. Her husband, Joe Giudice has managed to have his trial for fraud pushed back a few times but it seems that it’s the end of the road for continuances. He heads to court on July 15^th and the prosecution feels very strongly that they’ll get a conviction for Joe’s attempt at using his brothers information to get a valid driver’s license. If that happens Juicy Joe could be locked up for a decade!

I guess even more difficult than leaving his wife and four kids is the thought of no longer being relevant so he pitched an idea to Bravo’s execs- Joe in the Joint. According to the June 23^rd print edition of National Enquirer it’s basically a reality show that documents what it’s like to lose all of your freedom and have to adapt to life behind bars. It is being considered as a spin off from The Real Housewive’s of New Jersey and Teresa could cross over to visit her husband.

This week The Bachelorette continues as the 13 remaining bachelors continue their pursuit for Desiree Hartsock‘s heart. The remaining bachelors start their romantic global tour with Desiree in Atlantic City, as the iconic resort plays host to a hot competition between the handsome men and touching surprise for a married couple dramatically affected by Super storm Sandy.

This week there was some speculation as to whether Desiree will find her Prince Charming. Rumor has it a lot of the men competing don’t really think she is sexy enough. I guess time will tell!

Desiree starts her world tour searching for love in the popular, nostalgic seaside resort of Atlantic City, New Jersey, where some of her hunky beaus will compete for the coveted title of “The Bachelorette’s Mr. America.” They better watch out about that because rumor on the street is Desiree likes losers.

Rookie Blue returns to ABC tonight with a new episode called “Homecoming.” On last week’s season 4 premiere, Andy and Nick continued to work undercover infiltrating a meth pipeline. However their covert mission went sideways when Nick – then Andy – went missing.

Meanwhile, a random arrest at 15 Division puts Sam Swarek and the other officers in the middle of the drug investigation-turned-rescue operation. Finally, Andy had to figure out how to cope with the transformation of her own life as well as those of her friends at the station and continue to do the job she loves. Rookie Blue is back tonight with its season 4 premiere. On the season finale last season when a violent child abductor escaped from an emergency hospital visit, the officers of 15 Division tried to track him down before he took another young victim. When Andy and Dov discovered that the desperate man had snatched another girl, Andy and Swarek found themselves in a deadly standoff to save the terrified victim, resulting in a major emotional confrontation — and a serious choice for Andy. Meanwhile, Chris’ family obligations had him contemplating a transfer, and Traci and Gail each faced monumental decisions regarding their respective careers. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner Reality Show?

I guess if you’re in the business of producing reality television shows then it’s really important to come up with a new idea here or there and it seems that one such Hollywood bigwig thinks he has a fabulous idea. Casting an A-list celebrity family (in other words NOT a Kardashian) and letting the cameras roll as we watch them try to live their version of a normal life while in the constant spotlight.

According to the National Enquirer, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are being courted for such a project. After his Oscar speech it seemed that everyone assumed that the couples’ marriage was in trouble because Ben had referred to it as work. So this idea was pitched in order to allow the couple to show fans what exactly Ben was talking about. Personally, I tend to think a big deal was made over nothing there. It takes work to make two careers jive with raising three kids. Someone always has to sacrifice something and acknowledging that keeping a family happy and stable is work, well that’s just common sense to me. Nothing is ever easy.

Celebrity Wife Swap returns March 28th, 2013 with a whole new episode. For the first time in the show’s history, a family breaks the rules of the swap and refuses to reunite for the roundtable discussion.

The families that swap lives this week are: A Tea Party Activist – Gina Loudon is a staunch Tea Party activist and conservative political pundit who lives in San Diego, California with her husband, former Missouri State Senator John Loudon, and their five children — Lyda (17), Lilly (13), Jack (10), Beau (6) and their adopted son Samuel (6), who has Down syndrome. Religion and politics are topics of constant discussion in the Loudon home, with John leading daily Bible study for his wife and children.
