Madonna’s maternal grandmother, Elsie Mae Fortin, died in her home town of Bay City in Michigan yesterday. She was only 3 months away from her 100th birthday.

This is a very difficult time of mourning for Madge. Elsie raised Madonna after her mother passed away in 1963.

Our thoughts are with Madonna and her family.
