Liam Neeson’s cameo as a Bangkok tattoo artist in The Hangover Part II has been cut. Yeah, I am totally bummed too. Why would they Ado this? Well, actor/writer/director Nick Cassavetes was re-cast in the role because Neeson is unavailable to re-shoot it.

Director Todd Phillips cut the scene that immediately followed Neeson’s cameo and it no longer made sense. So that was why they needed to re-shoot. Liam is already shooting Clash of the Titans 2 and couldn’t make it happen.
“We were in a complete time crunch so I called up Nick and asked if he would do the part,” Phillips said. “He came in and crushed it and that is the scene that you will ultimately see in the film.”
I am still pumped to see the flick on May 26th, but I sure wish Liam was still on board.
