There has been a lot of chatter lately surrounding the possibility of MTV bringing back The Hills as a movie. The first red flag? How about it’s supposed to be reality TV, so how are you going to make a movie? Anyhow, it seems that Lauren Conrad has been left out of the loop since this news has come as a surprise to her.
She was at the Alice + Olivia shoe launch sponsored by Activate water at Palihouse Holloway in West Hollywood when she said,
“The Hills was great for me, but I decided to leave it, so that’s something that’s behind me. It’s not for me. I heard about that years ago, and then I read about that somewhere again recently. I was like, ‘What Hills movie?'” she said to Life & Style. “No one has asked me to be in a Hills movie and I don’t really know much about it. It’s supposed to be reality TV, so I don’t think there would be a script. It’s supposed to come together as it goes along, I would think. I’d be surprised if there were a script.”
I don’t think this movie will ever happen. If you can’t get the entire, full cast on board, it doesn’t stand a chance. And even then, I am not sure that it could make the big screen.
