Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton’s mother, Dorothy Rodham, passed early this morning (November 1) in Washington, D.C., she was 92. The family is planning a celebration of her life in the next few days. Clinton’s father, Hugh Rodham passed away back in 1993.
The family has released this statement,
“Her story was a quintessentially American one, largely because she wrote it herself. She overcame abandonment and hardship as a young girl to become the remarkable woman she was – a warm, generous and strong woman; an intellectual; a woman who told a great joke and always got the joke; an extraordinary friend and, most of all, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.”
Our thoughts are with the family during this time, but know that they are celebrating a wonderful life. Dorothy will be truly missed.
