Whitney Houston’s Family Sit Down With Oprah On Tragic Star’s Final Days & Death, Interview To Air This Sunday
This all seems to soon to be done, but when it’s Oprah Winfrey on the line, it seems that no one can say no… not even the Houstons. Maybe it’s a little over-exaggerated because according to Oprah she was very close friends with Whitney Houston throughout the late 90’s and ever since. It was also the interview back in 2009 that Oprah did with the legendary singer that Houston revealed she was on drugs for the very first time, adding she only felt comfortable doing an interview with Winfrey.
Last week, the Houstons last down with Winfrey for a very intimate interview on Whitney’s death, just weeks after she had passed. Whitney’s sister-in-law, her brother and a few other family members make an appearance on the show to tell their story on Whitney’s last days and what she was doing but all eyes were on Bobbi Kristina when she walked in the room, glowing as she gave Oprah a big hug; almost as if Oprah was just like a mother to her.
Now one of the first things Oprah had asked, Patricia Houston was if she had thought that Whitney was going to die from drugs where she replied, saying:
“The handwriting was kind of on the wall. It was just more of a lifestyle. I was afraid for other things. I saw her chasing a dream, you know, looking for love in all the wrong places.”
The interview airs on OWN on Sunday, 11th March!
