Bobbi Kristina Brown is determined to carry on her Mother Whitney Houston‘s legacy so she’s planning a career behind the mic and in front of the camera. She revealed all to family friend Oprah Winfrey in a special interview on OWN last night.
It’s the first time Bobbi Kristina has spoken publicly since Whitney died on February 11. The 19 year old wants to try ‘some acting and some dancing‘ as well as singing. She knows the comparisons will come but says she can handle it thanks to some words of wisdom from Whit ‘it’s a lot of pressure, but she prepared me for it‘.
And it appears the singing superstar is keeping an eye on Bobbi from the other side which is helping her ‘lights turn on and off, and I’m like, ‘Mom, what are you doing?’ I can still laugh with her and still talk to her’.
Bobbi says it’s been a tough four weeks. She was admitted to hospital several times after suffering a breakdown. ‘I’m doing as good as I possibly can at this point. I’m just trying to keep going. I can hear her voice telling me to keep moving. ‘Baby, I gotcha’. She’s always with me. I can always feel her with me. No-one knows what an amazing spirit she was. She wasn’t only a mother, she was a best friend. She was a sister. Of course, we had our arguments, we had everything, but at the end of the day, that was still my mother, my confidante, my everything‘.
Bobbi knew her Mother had problems but wants people to know she was more than a tabloid fixture ‘Everything people are saying about her – all that negativity – it’s garbage‘.
