Britney Spears Is Now Legally Free To Marry

Britney Spears will be joining LA Reid and Simon Cowell in the upcoming auditions, E! Online confirms. The pop star who has been trying to come to some kind of agreement with producers of X Factor USA has finally signed a contract for $15million, which is slightly more than what Jennifer Lopez makes on American Idol.

“The contract is signed. There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on. It’s all completed and Britney is beyond excited,” a source explained.

However, could this really be a good move for the singer? According to reports, Spears has asked to receive an exit clause, this means if she’s not happy on the first season of the show, she can leave and decide to do something else. Whether or not that was included in the contract, it has not been confirmed but we’re not doubting it either – Britney gets what she wants. After all, she’s the star of the show, right?

The source added: “She’s ready for this. She can’t wait to sit down next to Simon at the judges’ table and give this everything she’s got. She is excited about showing the world that she can do this, and do this well. This is the perfect next stage in her career. Both Britney and Simon are very excited to work together.”

Filmed auditions will take place next week, which means there’ll be another announcement soon on who will take the fourth judging seat. Demi Lovato, Fergie and Miley Cyrus have all be linked to the role but non have actually been confirmed yet. However, our friends at TMZ say Lovato has been approached by the offer but it’s not clear if the former Disney star will sign on, despite a lot of people wanting her on the talent show with Brit.

Who do you want to take the fourth judging seat? Fergie, Demi or Miley?!
