Just How Does Kate Middleton Spend Her Day?
Kate Middleton is known for her fabulous style and impeccable class at Royal events, but how does the Duchess spend a normal day? We already know that she and her prince lead a relatively quiet life in Anglesey, North Wales. She is primarily London-based while William can be called away for 24-hour shifts as an operational captain in the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force.
“Kate is a military wife, supporting her husband whenever possible,” says a press officer. When they do get to spend time together, William “believes romance is important,” another source says. “He’s not cheesy, but he does like to make romantic gestures.”
Us Weekly has a typical breakdown of both Kate and William’s day when at home. Kate’s typical morning begins at 7am with a run around either Kensington Palace or Kensington Park with pup Lupo (accompanied by a protection officer). Have a healthy breakfast (porridge is a favorite); meet with Household Office; read latest reports from charities. Her afternoons are filled with various appointments and public engagements. If lucky she may cram in a quick hair appointment. In the evening Kate prefers to have dinner alone with her husband, but if he is away its sister-bonding time.
“If William is not in London, she’ll spend time with Pippa [Middleton], who comes for a visit when they’re both free,”
As for William, his days are all about work. His morning schedule: Report to Royal Air Force base at 7 a.m.; have breakfast at the officers’ mess. Evaluate weather for the day’s flight training and begin answering any search-and-rescue calls. William must be in the air within 15 minutes of call receipt. He doesn’t always have time to grab lunch and his afternoon is loaded down with writing reports and other squadron related duties. He is on call all evening long, sleeps at the RAF base and finally returns home to his wife at 6am.
Kate and William do have a very modern marriage. Their schedules are often opposing and they seem to steal whatever time together that they can. What is the schedule like in your home? Are you and your significant other juggling schedules like the Royal lovebirds? Tell us in the comments below!
