How old is Selena Gomez again? On Tuesday she debuted the commercial for her brand new, first ever fragrance and immediately needed to know what her fans thought. She hopped onto Twitter where her legion of fans is at least 11 million strong and asked for input, saying,
“Hey Guys – This is the ad we shot for my new fragrance. Let me know what you think!”
As for the ad itself, Selena is basically dipped in a sea of purple and moving in slow motion. Some of the close up shots make her look like an 80’s video girl, which might actually be the look and feel that she was aiming for! Is it too sexy? I think it’s kind of hard to really capture that sort of feel when her huge hit, I Love You like a Love Song is playing in the background. If it was sexy before, once you hear that I think it automatically tones it down and makes it young and fun instead.
Truth be told, Selena is getting older and has to keep mega star boyfriend, Just Bieber on his toes, so she probably is at a point where she is trying to sex up her image even just a little.
