Liberty Ross didn’t have the greatest week of her life. Her husband, the director Rupert Sanders, was involved in a cheating scandal with Kristen Stewart which has the world on the edge of their seats.
Ross has been married to Rupert for the past ten years and they care two young kids aged 7 and 5. Ross uncannily opened up to YOU Magazine two weeks ago about her married life with Sanders. Ross admitted that the move from London to Los Angeles was “difficult and isolating”. Her husband moved them to L.A. in order for him to boost his career as a Hollywood director.
Ross said, “I romanticized domesticity for a while, and loved having a shopping list of groceries stuck to the fridge for the first time, but moving here and starting a life all over again was a lot harder than I had anticipated. I just didn’t think it would be as isolating and daunting as it turned out to be.”
Ross, the sister of Atticus Ross, who won an Oscar for working with Trent Reznor on The Social Network soundtrack, added to her woeful and frank interview, “I would never say out loud that I am raising my children alone, but a lot of the time it has felt like that. I went from the glamour of working with Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano to living on an isolated hilltop, with my husband gone most of the time, but that’s why everything feels so amazing now. We rode through the really hard times and we stuck it out.”
Us Weekly broke the news with images of Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders getting their kink on. The world waited with baited breath for either of them to release any form of a public apology. Sanders said in his statement on Wednesday, “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.” Erm, we doubt prayer will carry you through this Sanders?
Stewart also released an apology and said, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”
Did these people ever stop to think about all of the other innocent people involved in their deviant actions? Karma is going to slap Kristen and Rupert over the face like a wet, dead fish…
