Jada Pinkett Smith has made it very clear that she and Will Smith will not be getting divorced, in fact, the couple are stronger than ever in their relationship. Rumors first started last year, when Smith was spotted out without his wedding ring, then it circulated that Will was gay when he started spending a lot of time with one of his closest male friend – spotted in a hotel room together. So, it definitely had a lot of people thinking they were finished.
But, Jada – mother to Jaden and Willow Smith – is happier than ever with Will and nothing in their relationship has been damaged to the point she would file to divorce the man who has become a part of her. “It seems like that happens at least once a year, or at least once every two years,” Pinkett Smith explained in an interview with Essence.
“It’s rumored that we’re getting a divorce. But no. We’re not getting a divorce. Where am I gonna go? Where am I going to go? That’s my boo. It’s like he’s another part of me.”
The 40-year old gave her explanation after being asked why she thinks her marriage has been put in the spotlight: “Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it’s us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it.”
