It Only Took Three Days: One Direction’s Zayn Malik Returns To Twitter, Adding ‘He Doesn’t Let His Fans Down’

It was just on Monday when we told you that One Direction’s Zayn Malik had quit Twitter due to the hateful messages he was receiving on his timeline, but now it seems that the singer is also an addict to the social networking site as it only took him three days to return. Malik’s excuse for coming back to Twitter is that he didn’t want to let his fans down who had his name trending several times within 48 hours of him announcing his departure from the site, which is pretty hilarious.

Nevertheless, we can all stop worrying now that he is back right? Zayn tweeted to his 5 million followers: “Sorry, I was getting some abuse on twitter but I dont want to let my fans down. So I am back!! 🙂 x,” he said.

Just before he quit the social networking site, he left two tweets on his page, stating the reasons of why he didn’t want to be on it anymore – aiming at the people who are constantly being negative to what he does in his personal and public life. He tweeted: “The reason i don’t tweet as much as i use to, is because I’m sick of all the useless opinions and hate that i get daily goodbye twitter :).” …”My fans that have something nice to say can tweet me on the one direction account , 🙂 x “

One Direction are also set to make a “big announcement” later today – with reports claiming they are getting ready to release a new single which they will perform at this year’s VMA’s, alongside a second studio album for a November release.
