Barack Obama Gave Jay-Z Parenting Tips: ‘I Made Sure He Was Helping Beyonce With The Baby’
We hate this so much. Barack Obama should be focusing on how he’s going to get people jobs rather than tell a radio station that he’s been giving rapper Jay-Z parenting tips, and make sure that he’s helping his wife Beyonce with their 9-month old daughter, Blue Ivy. The President, who also recently addressed Nicki Minaj’s song where she says she’s voting for Mitt Romney, called into Ohio radio station Z1079 to talk about the couple and what advice he has given them on parenting.
“I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyoncé out and not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law,” Obama said. He added that his wife, Michelle Obama, considers the two musicians as good friends, adding that they’re down to earth people: “I’ve gotten to know these guys over the first several years. They’re good people. They’re down to earth.”
He continued: “Beyoncé could not be sweeter to Michelle and the girls. So they’re good friends. They really are down-to-earth folks. We talk about the same things I talk about with all my friends.” The interview continued by Obama saying his favorite song by Jay-Z was ‘My First Song’, which reminds him to “always stay hungry”.
What do you make of this? We certainly don’t agree with Obama talking about stuff like this. We understand that he desperately wants the votes but is this a way to get them? When Nicki Minaj said she’s voting for Mitt Romney in the song ‘Mercy’, Obama had the following to say: “I’m not sure that is actually what happened,” he said about the supposed endorsement. “I think she had a song on there, a little rap… but she likes to play different characters. So I don’t know what’s going on there.”
