It’s unusual that any cast member on Bravo‘s Real Housewives series takes the high road and apologizes for past wrongs–actually, now that I think of it, Taylor Armstrong may be the first! She and new cast member Brandi Glanville have been duking it out ever since the season two reunion special of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After Taylor’s husband Russell Armstrong committed suicide, Taylor became active against domestic abuse and got a book deal to write about her journey. Brandi was disgusted, noting that Russell was no longer alive to defend against anything Taylor may accuse, and it’s been a blonde war ever since.
A few weeks ago, Brandi announced that she got a book deal to talk about ex husband Eddie Cibrian, his affair with LeAnn Rimes, and their divorce. Of course, Taylor couldn’t be happy for her sell out move! Taylor told US Weekly, “When the topic of Brandi’s book comes up, I think it’s such a hot button for me because it was a really difficult decision and it was something that I struggled with.” But it looks like Taylor may be seeking forgiveness. She continued, “As far as her book goes, I wish her all the success . . . I didn’t live her life, either, so I’ll look forward to hearing her story and maybe we’ll understand one another better.”
Isn’t that such a Bravo thing to say? “Well, I don’t really know about her, so I guess that this book will help me understand her behavior and thoughts over the past two years!” Whatever Taylor’s excuse, we’re glad that the girls are slowly on the road to 90210 friendship. Brandi is fab–she doesn’t BS for anyone, and we think Taylor could probably use an ally like that! What do you think of Taylor’s turn? Can she and Brandi be friends, or is there too much history?
