Nicole Kidman has said that her husband Keith Urban loves being a judge on American Idol for several reasons; because he gets a nice paycheck once the season wraps, and because he’s constantly entertained by two divas who go by the name of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. The actress says that her hubby has fallen in love with the show so much that he always talks about it straight when he returns home.
‘Idol has been nothing but drama this past season which all first started in September when Nicki and Mariah got into a heated argument over a contestant refusing to say whether she was going to make country music or not.What a pathetic reason to argue over, don’t you think? Well, Keith definitely isn’t complaining,- it only makes going to work more fun than it’s actually supposed to be.
Access Hollywood quotes Nicole saying: “He adores [Mariah and Nicki], actually. He actually always comes [home] and says he loves doing [the show], so and he’s used to it… he likes strong personalities,” Kidman explained. Keith was later asked if he felt that the two divas have finally learned to get along with each other, seeing that they had already signed contracts for the show: “Absolutely, yeah,” the singer added, adding: “I think the live show’s going to be a blast.”
The talent show continues on FOX Wednesdays and Thursdays.
