Nicole Scherzinger has admitted that she think she could be much more successful with her music career if she was sluttier like the rest of the girls in the pop industry. She didn’t name names, but we’re sure she was thinking of Rihanna, Madonna and Lady Gaga when she said this, don’t you? Ha.
The former Pussycat Dolls singer never managed to break the charts with any of her dozens of singles, her first album Her Name is Nicole was a massive flop in the States and in Europe — nobody liked it. Now, for the first time, she has spoken out about why she thinks she doesn’t do as well as the other girls in the industry.
Though she says she would be much more successful if she was showing more flesh and behave reckless her family would probably disown her, seeing that her father was a priest while everyone else happens to be very religious where she’s from. So if she ever tried to act like Rihanna by getting naked on Twitter, she could kiss her family goodbye.
“With these kind of songs, I don’t feel I have to justify myself to anyone,” she told The Independent on Sunday. “I come from the most religious family – my grandfather is a priest – and if they support me in all this, and they do, then I’m okay. I’m being sassy and classy; I’m having fun. I’m not coming from a dark place. To be honest with you, I sometimes wish I were more slutty. I’d probably be a lot more successful if I were.”
Nicole is said to be returning to the UK’s version of X Factor for another year after impressing producers during last season. Sharon Osbourne is also in talks to return to the show later this year, while auditions are to be held within the next two months.
How about if the music was good, which it is not. Has nothing to do with being a slut or being too sexy, hence, Adele.
