Kordell Stewart Files For Divorce From RHOA Star Porsha Williams

Former NFL star Kordell Stewart has filed for divorce from his wife of almost two years, Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Porsha Williams.

Their wedding was featured on Platinum Weddings and the two have no children together.  Porsha suffered a miscarriage in early 2012 due to uterine fibroids.  Kordell has a son, Syre with ex-girlfriend Tania Richardson.

For years gay rumors have followed the ex Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.  The rumors have never been substantiated, but reportedly they bothered Kordell and caused him to distance himself from his teammates.  He even went so far to have a team meeting and told his teammates, “I believe in Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.”   The rumors quieted down once he married Porsha but now that he has filed for divorce, the rumors will probably take on a new life.

TMZ reports, “According to Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia, the 40-year-old NFL alum — who went by the nickname “Slash” during his playing days — filed for divorce on March 22.”

On RHOA Porsha said she wanted to have kids and a career and Kordell told her she would have to choose one of the other.  Porsha did not want to leave Real Housewives of Atlanta.

This should turn out to be an interesting divorce the couple have no prenup.
