Mariah Carey woke up super early for a performance on Good Morning America. She wore a stunning pink Versace dress, but apparently it was much too small. It was a wardrobe malfunction that could have turned out much worse than it did, thanks to the show’s host, Lara Spencer.
After complaining to Spencer that she’s “never up at this hour,” Carey, clad in a tight gold Versace gown, announced: “The back of my dress just popped.” Holding up the front of her dress to avoid any potential nip slips, the Grammy winner and American Idol judge called out designer Donatella Versace as helpers quickly rushed to her aid. “I love you, Donatella, but it popped, darling.”
As Spencer attempted to keep things moving during the dress triage, Carey continued to ramble. “I just wanted to change the ensemble, you know,” the mother of two said. “What should we call this, the Central Park Saga? It seems like a YouTube moment, possibly a Spotify moment!”

She handled the situation like a professional, but that dress had to be at least two sizes too small, don’t you think? We would die if Donatella Versace responded to wear something that fits…Ha.
