Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Fighting Over The Similarity Of Their Film Roles
The Mail reports that in the aftermath of their breakup and rumors of a reunion, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are now fighting over the similarity of their film roles.
Robert Pattinson is currently working on Mission: Blacklist, in which he plays a soldier in the Iraqi war. The Mail reports that Rob became ‘annoyed’ after he found out that Kristen is taking on Camp X Ray, which is about a female soldier stationed at Guantanamo Bay.
A source close to the couple reportedly told the Mail, “Rob’s camp was surprised to hear Kristen had signed onto another War on Terror movie Camp X-Ray about a female soldier stationed in Guantanamo Bay which she will film late summer. Rob is convinced Kristen is now trying to duplicate his film choices with Camp X-Ray which is being directed by Peter Sattler, an obscure first-time director.”
Reports of a reunion between Rob and Kristen were also shot down, much to Kristen’s disappointment I’m sure. However, this whole story seems to be erring on the side of fan fiction. While it’s certainly a coincidence that Kristen and Rob are both filming war stories, Kristen’s choice to do Camp X Ray was a long time coming, as she was also previously attached to another female soldier film a couple of years ago. And the source tries to point out the ‘first-time director’ factor like it’s a big deal, when Kristen actually enjoys working with first-time directors. So I’m calling BS, which isn’t very hard to do with a Kristen Stewart/Robert Pattinson story anyway.
