Prince William And Kate Middleton Give Their First Televised Interview With Royal Baby
Prince William and Kate Middleton made their first publicized appearance with HRH Royal Baby early Tuesday. They brought out the baby, swathed in cloth, outside of St. Mary’s hospital. After posing for the cameras for the few minutes, Kate shifted the baby to William’s arms and the happy family descended the stairs to talk to the media.
William seemed delighted by his new son, and he kept smiling and laughing, and generally acting very genial with the reporters. To a variety of questions, William replied, “He’s got her looks, thankfully. He’s got a good pair of lungs on him, that’s for sure. He’s a big boy, he’s quite heavy. He’s got way more than me, thank God.”
Kate seemed a little bit more introspective, although she couldn’t stop beaming either. She stated, “It’s such a special time. Any parent will know what this feels like.”
The best part is that after the interviews, Will and Kate got into an SUV themselves, without an entourage. After the putting the baby in his seat at the back of the car, they headed out to their apartment in Kensington. They’re definitely trying to play the ‘relatable couple’, which is still adorable. Manufactured, but adorable.
