People Magazine’s latest cover features a story on Prince Harry and socialite Cressida Bonas‘ fairy tale relationship. It’s not hard to figure out that this story was leaked by the palace reps, probably right before setting up the engagement. Otherwise, where else would you hear that Harry and Cressida both share an interest in ‘indie rock and late-night clubbing‘? Not very princely interests, are they?
Obviously, after Prince William got married to Kate Middleton and had a baby with her, the pressure on Harry has dropped massively. He’s now fourth in line to the throne, and he probably could’t be happier. But is he really willing to settle down in marriage? Keep in mind, this is the same guy who went naked in Las Vegas, knowing fully well that he’s a royal and that kind of behavior is ‘unbecoming’ of him.
Anyway, the report really lays it on thick, revealing the details behind the ‘royal love story‘, including ‘how the free spirited beauty won the playboy prince’s heart’. I mean, there’s no doubting that Harry is extremely attached to Cressida – there’s no way he would even be considering marriage or settling down with anyone else. But the question is – will it be enough for him? If he gets married soon, will he regret the days he could have spent partying and clubbing? Or after he and Cressida get married, are both of them going to continue to live their lives?
As sad as this may sound, they’re not going to be able to stay the same even if they want to. After marriage, there’s a whole set of new rules of decorum that must be followed, and that includes not clubbing and partying into the night.
Other stories on the cover of People include River Phoenix‘ friends recalling his tragic death years after it happened, pictures of North West, and Mia Farrow’s shocking bombshell about how Frank Sinatra may have fathered her child.
