Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s TV Wedding – It’s Not Exploitation If You Produce It Yourself, Genius

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's TV Wedding - It's Not Exploitation If You Produce It Yourself, Genius

It looks like the Kardashians’ influence on Kanye West is starting to take hold. I’ve been saying this for months – hang out with the Kardashians long enough, and you will become a famewhore by association. Kanye, despite his vehement hatred of the media and paparazzi, has just revealed that he and Kim Kardashian might have a televised wedding.

Kanye was interviewed by the Power 106 ‘Big Boy’s Neighborhood‘ morning show, and mentioned his upcoming nuptials. When discussing the option of going through a televised wedding, Kanye explained, “I would take as much as possible.  What’s official for everybody in this room and everybody on this globe right now is them bills. If you can help out with those bills, because you know me and Kim are in the exploitation business. We get paid to exploit ourselves. I’m [going to] give my daughter the opportunity to choose when she wants to be exploited. That’s the reason we didn’t take any money for any baby pictures.”

At least he admits that he and Kim are, in his words, in the ‘exploitation business’. I’m not sure what to make of Kanye’s weirdly candid revelation. I guess that’s always my dilemma with Kanye – he always tells the truth, but he usually dresses it up in so much bizarre extra information that it takes some time to understand what he’s trying to say. In this particular case, he’s very clear – he will have a televised wedding provided they pay him enough money, but he won’t let anybody [including Kim] exploit his daughter until she’s old enough to make her own decisions. A surprisingly moral and honest decision, although I’m not sure Kim would too happy about not using North West until she’s older.
