Nancy Motes Suicide Note Blames Julia Roberts For Death
A report from the New York Daily News alleges that Nancy Motes left a five-page suicide note by her deathbed. Although initial reports had pegged Nancy’s death as an accidental drug overdose, later reports confirmed that it was a suicide, and reports of a suicide letter obviously corroborate that claim.
Apparently, authorities retrieved both prescription and non-prescription drugs next to the bathtub where Nancy’s body was found. A source tells the NY Daily News, “It was definitely a suicide. She left a five-page suicide letter. The EMT found it.”The same source also adds that although the contents of the letter haven’t been made public, it mostly contained an extensive diatribe towards her half-sister, Julia Roberts. The source adds, “There were three pages of rantings that her sister drove her to do this. There was one page to her mom, telling her how much she loved her, and one page apologizing to (her fiancé John Dilbeck).”
As we know, Nancy and Julia have a contentious relationship, with Nancy blaming Julia for her self-esteem issues. Those issues then seemed to get worse over the years, culminating in a series of since-deleted tweets from last month, with Nancy calling Julia a ‘b****’ and a ‘hag’. On January 19th, she tweeted, “So my ‘sister’ said that with all her friends & fans she doesn’t need anymore love. Just so you all know ‘America’s Sweetheart’ is a B—-H!! Do you want to be a fan of someone so cruel? She’s not even that good of an actress. Happy you totally F—ed with me?”
Clearly, the sisters never resolved the problems in their relationship before Nancy’s death. Unfortunately, now there won’t be a chance for them to, and it’s hard to imagine the guilt and grief that Julia’s bearing right now.
