Michael Jace Officially Charged With Shooting And Murdering Wife – Neighbors Claim Michael Was In ‘Daze’
Michael Jace, best known for starring on The Shield, has been officially charged for shooting and murdering his wife, April Jace, on Monday night. Although Michael himself called 911 and admitted to the murder, reportedly in front of his own children, his neighbors also heard the shots fired and revealed their thoughts on the whole situation.
One neighbor spoke to Radar Online, saying, “I heard a bang and I said, that sounds like a gunshot not knowing really because I don’t hear gunshots. I heard one shot like ‘pow’ and then after that ‘pow pow’ behind it like three shots. So I said ‘it sounded like a gunshot’ then I heard two more times, I heard three shots I said ‘I think that’s gun fire’ and I just took off and got in my house.”
Another neighbor told Radar that they saw Michael cuffed and standing next to the police car Monday night, explaining, “Michael looked like he was in a daze, like he wasn’t really there.”
Right now, Michael’s and April’s two children are in the custody of April’s parents, who have refused to publicly comment on their daughter’s brutal murder. Of course, a lot of new information has come to light about Michael’s past history with domestic violence, information that sheds knowledge on Michael’s state of being when he shot his wife. He’s been accused of hitting and abusing his ex-wife, and considering that he’s also been having a lot of financial issues lately, most sources are assuming that this was a financial quarrel gone wrong. However, the neighbors all agree that Michael, April, and their children have always come off as model citizens and neighbors, and this is the first time that anything untoward has happened.
