LeAnn Rimes Cries About Her Father On The Talk
LeAnn Rimes is doing everything she can to promote LeAnn and Eddie, even though the show’s ratings continue to fall rapidly. She and Eddie Cibrian were on The Talk to promote their VH1 reality show, and while there, they discussed LeAnn’s father, Wilbur Rimes.
LeAnn was shown a clip of her dad singing a song and playing guitar, which caused her to start crying. She explained, “My dad and I have been through a lot together and we’ve come out the other side of it with a relationship. It’s pretty amazing.” LeAnn ends up joining her father in the clip, which is the first time the duo have sung together in years.LeAnn explains how the situation with her father changed over the recent years, adding, “I’m glad people get to see my dad. He’s been drug through the media so long being this horrible person and I’m glad people get to see my dad for what he really is on the show.” Of course, even if we believed the moment was genuine, Eddie goes and ruins it. He chimes in, saying that the moment wasn’t rehearsed at all. Except now that he said that, of course we’re going to be thinking it. Was it rehearsed for our benefits? Was it staged? Are LeAnn and her father actually talking? Were they ever having issues?
What do you guys think? I mean, they are in charge of promoting the show here, and a tearful father/daughter reunion will sell a lot more views than LeAnn sitting stone-faced while her father appears in the background. Or is that too cynical? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
