Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill NOT Getting Married – Meek Mill Says Ring Was Just A Gift, Not An Engagement Ring

Is Nicki Minaj engaged and getting married? Nicki Minaj received a diamond ring from her boyfriend Meek Mill – and posted a video of herself flaunting it on Instagram in April. Naturally, everyone jumped to the conclusion that she and Meek mill were getting married and her fans and the media went in to a frenzy. Nicki neglected to clear the air – and refused to confirm nor deny whether she and Meek were engaged.

Nicki’s rapping boyfriend sat down with “The Fader” for an exclusive interview and finally set the record straight about their upcoming wedding. The verdict? There is no wedding! Meek told the magazine that he gave Nicki the ring as a gift – but it is not an engagement ring, and they definitely aren’t planning a wedding right now. Meek went on to say, “But it ain’t really time to get married yet. We’re still learning each other, feeling each other out.“

We’re still a little confused – Meek Mill gave Nicki Minaj an engagement ring, but they’re not engaged? Who buys someone a 15 carat engagement ring as a “gift,” but not an actual engagement ring? Regardless, we should have known that Meek and Nicki’s engagement was all just a publicity sham – this is not the first time that Nicki has created uproars online by starting rumors and then never setting them straight. Think about how many times she had us convinced that she was marrying her ex, Safaree, and she never bothered to set the record straight.
