Game Of Thrones Season 6 Spoilers: Kit Harington’s Character Jon Snow Is Alive – Not Dead?
Is Jon Snow Alive on Game Of Thrones? GOT fans were devastated after the Season 5 finale of the HBO drama when Kit Harington’s character Jon Snow was stabbed to death and left for dead, bleeding in a snow bank. However, the final scene appeared a bit open-ended and gave fans hope that there was a chance Jon Snow was still alive.
After the Season 5 finale of ‘Game Of Thrones,’ Kit Harington and the cast of the HBO drama insisted that Jon Snow was really dead. Harington himself even stated in an interview that his character was not alive, and wouldn’t be appearing in Season 6. Despite the fact that everyone insisted Jon Snow was dead – fans of ‘Game Of Thrones’ refused to believe it. Of course, the fact that Harington was spotted near the ‘Game Of Thrones’ set in Ireland wasn’t exactly helping his arguments that he was off the show.
Just when Jon Snow’s “death” couldn’t get any more confusing, HBO delivered possibly the cruelest joke ever to ‘GOT’ fans. On November 23rd HBO released the first official promo picture for Season 6 of ‘Game Of Thrones’ – and it’s Jon Snow. In the promo picture Snow appears injured and bloody … but very much alive. What does that even mean? Of course, the ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 artwork nearly broke the internet and once again refueled rumors that Harington’s character was still very much alive.
What do you think ‘Game Of Thrones’ fans? Is Jon Snow dead, or alive? Why would HBO make his photo the first official artwork for Season 6 if he is not even going to be in Season 6? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
