‘The Young and the Restless’ Camryn Grimes [Mariah Copeland] and Melissa Ordway [Abby Newman] visited the East Valley Animal shelter recently. The actresses helped kick off the Get Your Licks on Route 66 ‘Lucky Dog’ mobile adoption unit campaign.
Camryn and Melissa’s visit to the shelter will be highlighted on the CBS Saturday morning show ‘Lucky Dog’ airing on Saturday, April 23. A short clip of Camryn and Melissa’s visit was shared by CBS Daytime.

‘Lucky Dog’ host Brandon McMillian got a little help from Camryn and Melissa during the adoption campaign. Melissa and Camryn met the dogs and those interested in rescuing a displaced pet. “One by one each and every dog up for adoption finds its own forever home. That is, all but one” the narrator reveals.
Animal trainer Brandon McMillan’s mission is to rescue hard-to-love, out-of-control, untrained and unadoptable dogs. On Saturday, April 23 show viewers will meet Stewey, a very nervous 2-year-old dachshund mix. Brandon believes the pup has potential and off the two go to his Lucky Dog Ranch were Brandon will turn Stewey from a seemingly unadoptable dog to a near perfect pet for one loving family.
