Alaskan Bush People: How Rainy Brown Copes With Mental Health Problems
“Alaskan Bush People” star Rainy Brown has been open about her struggle with depression in the past, and recently, she has some tips to others about how to take care of your mental health.
The 15-year-old reality star recently posted on Instagram about taking a time off from work. While she was reluctant to take a leave at first, she realized that she actually needed it. In her post, she shared that she has been busy in recent weeks, which made her lose sight of who she really is and what she wants to be.
“I got very caught up in the daily stresses and struggles of life and had no time to just be me,” she wrote. As such, she had no time to take care of her mental health.
During her break, she took time to do some cooking, painting, hiking and cleaning. She also spent time catching up with her friends and bonding with her loved ones.
At the end of the week, Rain said she has “a clear mind and a very full heart.” So her recommendation? Take a break.
The youngest daughter of Ami and Billy Brown said taking time off would help whenever you feeling overwhelmed, when you are overthinking, and when you are stressed out.
“Rebuild yourself, find yourself again and I promise you, you will come out better in the end,” Rainy added.
