Just last year, Lani Price discovered she was pregnant. Not only was the child unplanned, but there were other complications. She didn’t know if JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) or Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) was the father. When she did find out, she kept it to herself, creating a web of lies. Eventually, the truth came out in a surprising way… while testifying in Gabi Hernandez’s (Camila Banus) trial.

Detective Price Goes Undercover
Days of Our Lives spoilers for a previous storyline had Lani going undercover. However, she nearly lost her life during the secret law enforcement operation. It had to do with a relentless drug dealer and in order not to ruin the bust, she had to take too much Halo. It led to an overdose and it took Lani a long time to fully recover.
