The Young and the Restless (Y&R) star Kristoff St. John died on Sunday, February 3.  It was a shock to the cast and crew. Everyone who knew Kristoff believed he was in a good place and he was happier than he has been in years.

Kristoff Last Airdate Revealed

St. John will make his final appearance on Wednesday, February 6. On Wednesday’s show, Neil (Kristoff St. John) will be a sounding board for Devon (Bryton James) as he tells him how he is doing. There is a moment of panic when Fen (Zach Tinker) arrives late and Ana (Loren Lot) is forced to perform instead.  Neil points out that a true family is always there for each other, no matter what.

The last episode is special to the cast as the script portrayed Neil exactly as Kristoff lived his life.  He was kind and supportive to everyone he met. After the episode airs tomorrow, there is a slide show of Kristoff St. John’s pictures with an “in loving memory” message.

CBS Planning A Tribute Episode

On Friday, February 8, CBS will air a tribute episode for Kristoff St. John. No one knows exactly what they have planned, yet but the word is it will be classy and respectful.

There isn’t any indication what CBS plans to do with the character of  Neil.  They only have a few options.  They can leave him out of town and not speak of him.  They can recast the role, which would be difficult. Or, they can bring awareness to mental illness and have a memorial for a recently passed away Neil.

Be sure to watch Neil’s last airdate and the special tribute episode on Friday.  Let’s all band together as Y&R fans and support Kristoff by giving him a proper sendoff.
