Big Brother 19 star Josh Martinez is usually happy-go-lucky and encouraging others to be kind to others, but today, his social media post paid tribute to his grandfather who had recently passed away. He let his follows know how much he loved his grandpa and how much his family will miss him.

When Josh Martinez entered the house for Big Brother 19, many viewers didn’t think he would last long. He was emotional and he constantly cried about one thing or another. He seemed too sensitive to play the game, especially with the savage player, Paul Abrahamian.
Never in a million years would the BB19 fans think that Josh and Paul would team up together. Only that is exactly what happened. They were the final two, and for the second year in a row, Paul made it to the end and lost.
Ever since his Big Brother win, he has tried to be a kind and positive voice in the Big Brother community. And, he has been. He’s made a huge difference.

Only today, his message was not as positive as he grappled with the loss of his grandpa.
Josh’s Grandpa Died After A Long Battle With Illness
Martinez’s grandfather died after a four-year health battle. He appeared sick in the Instagram images. Josh posted to Instagram, “ Heavens gained another angel 🙏🏽It’s so hard living without you but I’m at peace knowing that you are not suffering anymore, and you are now protecting us from heaven. Thank you for fighting 4 long years against that terrible illness. I love you so much and I hope to make you proud, may you Rest In Peace grandpa. The last conversation you had with us you told us to continue living life to the fullest and not to be sad and that’s exactly what I will continue to do. I’m grateful for all the lessons you taught me, and I’m glad you saw me make something out of myself. I love you and you will always live in our hearts. Till we meet again Viejo ❤️”
