General Hospital Star Emme Rylan Makes A Huge Move
Emme Rylan is making some huge changes in her life right now. The beautiful blonde recently admitted that she’s moving! But before General Hospital fans start to feel worried, don’t worry, she’s staying put in Port Charles. Instead, she’s just downsizing and moving into a smaller home with her family.
Emme Rylan Makes An Exciting Move!
“Don and I lived in NYC in 400 square feet happily for a decade,” Emme, the actress who plays Lulu Spencer explained on Instagram. “Then we moved to L.A. and our apartment got bigger. Then we had Jackson and we moved into a house, then we had Levi and Dakota and we moved into a bigger house! We have spent the last few years in a 2,900 square foot house that we have NEVER been able to get organized in. So we are returning to our New Yorker roots — No, we did not move to NYC. Yes we are still living in L.A., just “returning” to our smaller way of life — and moving our family of five into a 1,500 square foot house in L.A.”
Emme Inspired By Netflix’s Marie Kondo
Emme Rylan admits that she was also inspired by Netflix star Marie Kondo, whose method of keeping belongings that spark “joy” has become very popular on social media lately.
“We will obviously have to KonMari like crazy and only bring the things that spark joy,” the mom remarked before joking: “So I guess that means the kids will have to come with us?”

(I know we all live in different places so we are all use to different sized living) Have you done it with kids? Any tips? I am so excited about this change!! This little view from the sink is my favorite part!!! ❤️
Moving from one house to another is never easy, especially when you have small children at home. But seeing what kind of super mom and superwoman Emme is on a daily basis, we have a good feeling that she will be able to manage it all. Plus, downsizing seems like the right choice to make. The less clutter and stress, the better you end up feeling, right? In the meantime, don’t forget that General Hospital airs weekdays on the ABC network. Check your local listings for times.
