The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lola’s (Sasha Calle) accident will put her life in peril. Spurned by what happened at the Abbott cabin, Miss Rosales will face perilous circumstances in the pool at Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) house.
Rosales Family Peg Kyle As Lola’s Attacker
Arturo (Jason Canela) will blame Kyle for what happened. Lola’s just-dumped boyfriend will be just as stunned as Canela’s character, unsure of how she ended up in the dangerous watery state.
Just when it looked like Y&R’s cutest couple was through, drama in daytime gives Kyle an unexpected opportunity to restore his relationship with Lola. After she recovers, which won’t be a surprise to savvy soap viewers, this duo will surely realize that their love is stronger than petty differences.
How they move forward from there won’t be smooth, but at least generates the potential for Kola’s second act.
Lola: “I guess we’re on different tracks. Want different things.”
Kyle: “I know what I want.”

Summer Remains An Issue In Kola’s Happiness
Summer (Hunter King) is the problem. But Kyle has allowed his former girlfriend to push his buttons since she imposed herself back into Genoa City after being in Dubai.
It must be said that Lola sparked the most recent flame by speaking openly at Crimson Lights, while Summer and the others were sitting close by. That group heard far too much personal information, which allowed Summer to plot and then take advantage of Lola and Kyle’s vulnerabilities.
Lola’s admission to Jack (Peter Bergman), that Kola represents her first serious relationship, underscored why she’s responded so unusually to Kyle’s warm-hearted gestures in recent months. Lola is experiencing the deepening of a romantic connection for the first time in every instance and has resisted progress as a defense mechanism.

However, the issue of Lola’s honorable moral principles is one that Kyle isn’t capable of understanding, as he and Summer aren’t familiar with self-restraint. Their lives don’t represent modern ways of thinking but instead, have been seen in the soap world for decades.
It is arguable that Syle, a nickname as goofy as that repairing would be, does share a history and therefore might make a better couple than Lola. At least that’s what Summer wants Kyle to believe.
Kyle And Summer Are Over— For Good
Mealor’s well-played character better stick to his own principles because doing so will prevent him from recoupling with a person who he recently said isn’t even a friend. Summer lost that tag due to her repeated actions over the course of time.
Crisis, as has been written, demonstrates that Y&R isn’t done with the Kyle-Lola option. Surely fan interest in this breath of fresh air couple should drive plot lines to some extent. With hope in mind, Lola and Kyle will opt to persist and become a lasting couple. Summer won’t like it, but that response will be icing on the soapy cupcake, assuming Kola survives.
