The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, February 27 – The Trial Begins – Victor’s Thrown Out Of Court – Mia Manipulates Rey

Victoria will ask Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about testifying on their own behalf, but he’ll nix that idea, as it would be too easy for Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) to eviscerate them on the stand.
The Cover-up Crew Aftermath
Meanwhile, at Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) house, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will disclose to Nick that she knows all about girls’ night and the coverup. Summer will defend Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) to her dad, but Nick won’t hear any of it as he’s done with Phyllis.

At Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Mia Rosales’ (Noemi Gonzalez) place, Mia will ask Rey whether he’s going to turn her in for what she did to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). After taking a walk, Rey will return and tell Mia that what she did will remain their secret forever.
Jack Supports The Newmans
Back in the courtroom, Jack will show up and offer his support to the Newmans and to Sharon. Sharon will be touched that Jack is there, and he’ll say that there’s nowhere else he’d be today. Nick will approach, and Sharon will express concern for Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), who Nick will say is doing ok.

Rey will say that it’s time to go to the doctor and that he wants to go with her and share in every milestone. Rey will want to tell everyone the news, but Mia will say that she wants to keep it a secret until they’re sure.
Victor Is Kicked Out Of Courtroom
At the courthouse, Christine will give her opening statement, laying out the girls’ night scenario, characterizing Nikki’s attack as vicious and the coverup as calculated. Suddenly, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will stand up and tell the jury that her opening statement is an egregious misconstruction of the facts, then argue with the judge when she reprimands him. The judge will make Victor leave the courtroom.
At the hospital, Arturo will soften toward Kyle and let her see Lola. Kyle will talk sweetly to Lola, with Arturo looking on and approving. Kyle will get a text from Nate that the results from the blood tests are in, but Kyle’s not a match. Kyle will tell Lola that he’s willing to go to the ends of the earth to help her.

Brittany Claims Sharon Is Innocent
Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) will give her opening statement and say that once the jury hears the facts, she’s confident that the jury will find Sharon not guilty.
Then Michael will give his opening statement and say that the prosecution’s claims are not based on the facts, but on Phyllis’ version of the truth, which she sold in exchange for her freedom. He’ll want the jury to think about how far will the prosecution’s star witness go to save herself.
Finally, after opening statements Sharon will tell Brittany that she’s worried about Mariah’s testimony, and Brittany will tell her not to worry. She can fix anything that goes wrong on cross-examination. Across the room, Nick will ask Michael about Nikki and Victoria’s chances, and he’ll say they’re facing an uphill battle.
