Fans of The Young and the Restless, like those of other soap operas, are deeply passionate. Intended as a full compliment, Y&R viewers know best what changes they want to see on the show. Considering the elevation of Tony Morina to executive producer and Josh Griffith to head writer, Genoa City changes should be made?
Y&R Viewers Demand Soapy Changes
This may prove to be the winner, but a satisfying, logical wrap to the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) storyline seems obvious. Lurching toward 11 months, this arc has enveloped all things GC since first exploding through the screen on April 13, 2018.
A rebuild of various iconic sets, including Victor’s (Eric Braeden) office. It has apparently been confirmed that the ‘Moustache’s’ long-standing workspace was disassembled in the recent past. Was this really necessary?
The Newmans are back…in the courtroom tomorrow! Today's all-new episode of #YR was preempted, but don't worry. You'll get to see it tomorrow at our regularly scheduled time. 🙌 pic.twitter.com/y7PO6VtOep

Love Is In The Air
Restore one, or more love matches. There are various nicknamed pairings to be discussed, so let’s get to them.
Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Billy (Jason Thompson) love each other. Vikki is the mother of Billy’s daughter and adopted his son. For his part, Mr. Abbott has been incredibly supportive of Victoria as the J.T. horror has unfolded. ‘Villy’ again, why not?
Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) tried to get remarried in 2014 and again last October. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) was written between them both times. Don’t ‘Shick’ fans deserve to see this duo married again?
Through trials and tribulations, our love has endured, our bonds have become even stronger! It’s an honor to have shared the screen with you for so long! ❤️❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/gFERkZuIF1

And if that happens, allow them to be like the current ‘Niktor’. No separation, or quickie divorce. Let Sharon and Nick remain together indefinitely this time.
New Families Are Needed
The Rosales’ family is likable, even including Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) who is a poor soul at heart who simply needs to resolve her impulse control issues. But it does feel like Y&R has pushed Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) too much. He’s a good character, but don’t wear him out. And kudos in the meantime to Vilasuso, who’s a solid actor, for somehow memorizing near daily scripts for many months!
Nate (Brooks Darnell) is an intriguing character, who’s tied to one of Y&R’s legacy families, the Hastings’. The doctor needs to be given a personal life, so he can heal from the loss of his girlfriend and see more screen time outside of the hospital.
Y&R fans surely also have other hopes. They should feel free to add them, after also voting in our poll.
